Why you need frankincense in your arsenal!

If it was good enough for Jesus, heck it’s good enough for me! Frankincense is best known to be one of the gifts the 3 wise men brought to baby Jesus after his birth and is basically as valuable as gold! It has been around for more than 5000 years and used for basically everything under the sun and said to even suppress cancer cells!

If you're going to give this oil a go, you must only purchase 100% pure organic frankincense , not a blend (Buy online, I just realized Whole Foods up charges $3)

Improves the appearance of scars both old and new, dark spots, stretch marks, acne scarring.

  1. Anti aging and wrinkle buster (mix with any carrier oil ex: coconut oil, jojoba oil, rosehip oil, olive oil)

  2. Anti inflammatory properties (I suffer with varicose veins and apply frankincense/coconut oil directly to them.) Also good for sore muscles/joints.

  3. Awesome oil to diffuse in your home, frankincense is an astringent and will kill bacteria. Our diffuser at home is on non stop with these kids coming home with all types of you name it. Also an immunity booster, with the winter coming this stuff is a must have!

  4. Natural anti anxiety, stress reliever and negative emotion banner, great to exhale in and relax when feeling overwhelmed.

Two quick DIY recipes which incorporate frankincense

Natural lash booster for longer, stronger, thicker lashes..

  • 4 drops Frankincense and the 1 tbsp castor oil (store in a dark container and apply nightly to the lash line.)

Hair mask

This baby does it all from promoting hair growth, to nourishing your roots, to adding shine to even lice prevention (my fav!)

  • 2 TBSP coconut oil

  • 1 TBSP rosehip oil

  • 6 drops frankincense

  • 6 drops tea tree oil

  • 1 TBSP castor oil

Frankincense will reduce hair fall (great for all my new mamas, hormonal hair line loss is amaze!) add shine, moisture and promotes a healthy scalp.

Tea tree oil will nourish your roots and also promote hair growth by clearing out old cells to make room for new growth. Tea tree is natural lice repellent, one of my most used oils in general-it is so versatile.

Castor oil is rich in proteins, minerals and omega 6 + 9 fattys acids. Contains ricinoleic acid which is the key to increased hair growth.

I hope you found some of this informative and will give these oils a try!

XX,

Dana
