FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What is a trial? Must I do one?

A: A bridal trial is an opportunity prior to wedding to experiment with styles/shades to ensure wedding day runs smoothly. No, trial is not required although highly recommended.

Q: How far in advance should I schedule my trial?

A: Most brides choose to schedule trial 2-3 months prior, although whenever you are comfortable doing so. Notes & pictures are taken at time of trial to easily recreate your look day of wedding.

Q: When do you typically schedule trials?

A:

Monday 9-12

Tuesday 8-10:30 am

Wednesday 9-12

Thursday

Sunday

Trials may not be scheduled on Saturday's. Trials are done out of my home work studio located minutes from downtown Matthews. Feel free to bring a friend!

Q:  What can I do to prepare for trial?

A: Trial tips

  • Please arrive with day old blown hair and a clean/moisturized face if you will also receive makeup services.

  • Should you choose to wear extensions, please bring them with you.

  • Don’t forget your veil and any other hair pieces you will be wearing day of event to get the full effect!

  • I would suggest wearing a simple white/cream colored shirt, it's hard to feel bride like in a sweatshirt, ha!

  • Typically 2 hours for both hair and makeup.

Q: Do you provide makeup services?

A: Yes, both airbrush and traditional makeup offered.

Q: Why choose airbrush?

A: Airbrush foundation offers the best possible longevity, and can really hold up to a long day/night of dancing, tears, hugs & kisses! Airbrush can be customized based upon your personal needs, providing coverage ranging from sheer to full.

Q: How many women are you able to accommodate per bridal party?

A: I book 45 min per service, example: bride hair + makeup + 4 hair= 4.5 hours. The amount of ladies I am able to accommodate depends on when everyone will need to be competed by and how much time you are able/willing to devote to hair/makeup.

Q:  Can I book just hair, or just makeup?

A: Absolutely! Although, during peak wedding season, March- November I do have a 5 service minimum required to reserve for a Saturday.

Q: What sets you apart from other on location stylists?

A: For me, being a stylist is a lot more than just a job. I put my heart into every style I create. To ensure I give every bride and her bridal party the best possible experience it is a policy I have to never book more than one event per day. I will never be rushing off to another wedding without making absolutely positive everyone is happy with their services. I take the responsibility of ensuring your wedding photos (which you will have foreverrrrr) will be breath taking very seriously.

Q:  Do you stay after for touch up hair & makeup?

A: Unfortunately, I no longer offer this service. I would be more than happy to refer you to a trusted company that does.

Q:  Do you charge for travel, what other fees must I cover?

A: Travel is $1 per mile (round trip milage) I ask that the bride also cover any parking fees. *Currently only taking on weddings no more than an hour drive from Charlotte*

Q: Do you require a contract/ deposit to book my wedding?

A: Yes, signed contract and $250 deposit is required to reserve wedding date. Once deposit is received then you may schedule your trial at your convenience. $250 is applied to remaining balance. Remaining balance due 7 days prior to wedding.

(Note: without deposit, your wedding date is NOT secured.)

Q: I'm ready to reserve my wedding date, what's next?

A: Great, I look forward to working with you! $250 deposit can be left a couple different ways: Venmo, Zelle, square cash, Apple Pay, google wallet, mailed check. I will send you out a contract and once both are collected, you're all set!

Q: When does final payment need to be paid and what form of payment do you accept?

A: Final balance must be paid 7 days prior to wedding. Zelle/Venmo/square cash/Apple Pay/google wallet are all accepted.
